Very fine, big and heavy A. Lange & Söhne gold hunting cased repeater, circa 1918. An 18 carat gold, à goutte hunting cased, A. Lange & Söhne precision lever movement in rare quality “mM” with 16 jewels, minute wheel with gold chaton, golden lever, golden escapement wheel, fine adjusting device, repeating hours and quarters, undamaged enamel dial, original golden hands, fly spring mechanism needs revision, otherwise very nice condition. The watch comes with extract of the archives.

Only a few Lange watches were made with inconsistent case and movement number. This watch belongs to the small series of 10 quarter repeaters with number 70101-70110. Case number 81643 (original), movement number 70110.
