Gilded brass and steel pendant watch by F.Tramieri
–
A rare Italian octagonal verge pendant watch crafted from rock crystal, gilded brass, steel and silver, circa 1630. Tramieri, an Italian watchmaker from the 1600s, created this timepiece featuring an octagonal gilt brass and partly blued full plate movement with a verge escapement. The dial plate is adorned with engraved leaves and flowers, complemented by a silvered chapter ring displaying Roman numerals and half-hour markers. The watch is housed in a gilded brass and rock crystal case, which includes a hinged rock crystal cover that conceals the dial when closed. The back plate of the movement bears the signature of Tramieri.
