A large and representative gentleman’s Geneva pocket watch with chronograph and 30 minute counter, circa 1906. Sold on January 24th, 1914 – with original box and Patek Philippe extract from the archives.
18 Carat gold, polished case, inlaid blue and white enamel decor and case design Bassine à goutte, with numbered and signed gold dome, pusher for chronograph via pendant and chronograph locking device. Signed enamel dial with Arabic Breguet numerals, auxiliary seconds, 30-minute counter, blued spade hands and centre chronograph hand. Signed bridge movement, rhodium-plated and Geneva Striping, with very finely ground and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, gold screw compensation balance, cam-type fine adjusting device and counterpoised Moustache lever.
