A large Swiss silver open-faced centre seconds chronograph lever pocket watch, Hallmarked Birmingham 1894. Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with going barrel, engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, centre seconds, blue steel seconds hand and gilt hands. Plain English case with slide in the band to stop the watch, the back with vacant oval cartouche, wound and set through the silver cuvette. Maker’s mark LJ in a rectangle.
