Piguet-Capt
In 1894, Piguet-Capt (likely referring to the company Paul Piguet-Capt or other related Piguet family watchmakers) was active in Le Brassus, a village in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. The Audemars Piguet company, founded by Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet, was also headquartered there.
–
The Vallée de Joux was a major center for high end Swiss watchmaking, where many watchmakers operated small workshops within their homes and farms. While the main operations were in Le Brassus, Audemars Piguet had also established branch offices in other cities for sales and distribution by that time, including Geneva (opened in 1885),  London (opened in 1888) and New York, Buenos Aires, Berlin and Paris (opened in 1889).
–
Paul Piguet-Capt was a watchmaker known for producing commemorative pocket watches and coin watches, and was active until the late 1920s, working from Le Brassus.
