A fine and very attractive Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl-set open faced keyless lever pendant watch with matching brooch, circa 1893. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette set with a black and white photograph with the portrait of a gentleman on porcelain enamel and engraved 18-25 Mars 1893. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer five-minute divisions and gold Louis XVI hands. Case with pearl-set bezel and rim, the back decorated with a painted polychrome enamel scene depicting a loving couple in a classical landscape, matching gold and pearl-set brooch decorated with a painted polychrome enamel scene depicting a lakeside landscape with a lady fishing and a gentleman playing the flute, a glazed picture frame containing a black and white photograph of a boy to the back.
