Gold repeating lever chronograph tourbillon watch by John Walker

A very fine and rare gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever chronograph tourbillon watch, circa 1905. 3/4 Plate gilt finished ratchet tooth lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, Nielson one minute tourbillon carriage, glazed dust cover. Tinted enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer calibrated 1/5th seconds rings, two large subsidiary dials for 60 minute register and constant seconds. Heavy plain case, chronograph button in the band, hinged case back with monogram and 5 knuckle joint. Dial and movement signed and numbered, case stamped with casemaker’s initials FT London for Fred Thomas and London date letter for 1905.
