A fine German 18 carat gold keyless chronometer pocket watch with tourbillon and power reserve, circa 1980. Half plate nickel movement, three arm Y shaped polished steel carriage by Richard Daners, lateral lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance with freesprung special non magnetic Nivarox prima balance spring with Phillips terminal curves, entire train jewelled. Silvered guilloché dial, polished chapter ring with Roman numerals, eccentric subsidiary seconds, aperture for power reserve and blued steel moon hands. Engine turned case back, winding mechanism through the stem. Case, dial and movement signed. Accompanied by a Thomas Engel certificate, C.O.S.C bulletin, presentation case with spare spring and hands.

He has also applied his skills to horology with particular interest in the life and works of Abraham-Louis Breguet. Over the years he has produced some very fine watches which are inspired by the techniques that were used by Breguet.
