A rare French heart shaped pre hairspring verge pocket watch in later silver case, circa 1630. Gilt full plate heart shaped movement, finely pierced and engraved balance clock with floral motif, flat steel two-arm balance, screwed on pierced florally decorated ratchet set-up. Gilt engraved dial with rural landscape to the centre, silver chapter ring and Roman numerals. In a later silver heart shaped case. Movement signed.
