A fine and attractive Swiss 18 Carat vari coloured gold, diamond and ruby set open faced cylinder watch, circa 1820. Gilt finished cylinder movement, plain three armed brass balance. Egiltngine turned gilt dial with Roman numerals surrounded by an applied vari coloured gold floral decoration. Case with finely chased vari coloured gold scroll floral decoration in high relief, diamond and ruby set bezel, the back with a star shaped ruby set decoration. Movement signed. Comes with matching key.
