An American rose gold five minute repeating pocket watch by Waltham, circa 1888. 17 Jewel movement, nickel ¾ plate, jewels in settings, bimetallic balance, overcoiled spring, tadpole regulator, repeating on gongs by means of slide on case band, stem wind, lever set. White enamel dial, signed ‘A.W.W. Co Waltham’, Arabic chapters, subsidiary seconds and blued hands. 14 Carat engine turned full hunter case, molded bezels, monogram in cartouche.
