A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless dress watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1943. Retailed by Le Palais Royal in Havana, Cuba. The nickel finished lever movement stamped twice with the Geneva seal, 18 jewels and a bimetallic compensation balance. Silvered dial with applied gold baton and painted black baton hour indexes, outer minute divisions with applied five minute dots, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and fine hands. The plain case with a stepped bezel and snap-on back. Dial, case and movement signed by the watchmaker, the dial additionally signed by the retailer.
