An English silver open faced keyless wind lever pocket watch with carrousel, circa 1901. Gilt 3/4 plate carrousel movement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, lever escapement, blued steel over coil hairspring, diamond end-stone. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute chapter, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands. Plain hinged case, London hallmark for 1901, stamped SS possibly for Simon Silverstone, Clerkenwell. Dial signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered.
