An American gold pocket watch by Waltham, circa 1872. 15 Jewel movement, gilt ¾ plate, jewels in settings, flat spring, plain index regulator, button set, stem wind with barrel click on back plate. White enamel dial, signed ‘American Watch Co’, Roman chapters, subsidiary seconds and blued fleur de lis hands. 18 Carat engine turned full hunter case, signed ‘D & Co.’, cuvette with inscription.
