A Swiss gold lapel watch and a brooch by Patek Philippe, circa 1900. Retailed by Shreve & Co., San Francisco. 18 Jewel nickel bridge caliber movement, counterpoised lever escapement, bimetallic balance, overcoiled spring, stem wind and set with wolf’s tooth gears. White enamel dial, Arabic chapters, subsidiary seconds and gold pierced scroll hands. 18 Carat polished full hunter case, later applied turquoise cabochons set in rope twist surround on front lid. Case, dial and movement signed by Shreve & Co., movement by Patek Philippe.
