A fine Swiss vari coloured gold gem-set quarter repeating cylinder pocket watch by Capt & Freundler à Genève, circa 1820. Gilt bridge caliber movement, gilt three arm balance, parachute suspension, compensation curb, repeating on gongs by depressing pendant, key wind and set. Silver dial, engine turned and chased, Roman chapters, gold Breguet hands. Case lid applied with chased vari coloured floral bouquet on matted ground, flower heads set with emeralds, rubies and a diamond, front bezel, pendant and bow similarly gem set. With vari coloured gold ratchet key.
