A rare and early silver oval shaped single handed pendant watch made for the Ottoman Empire, circa 1660-1670. Oval full plate movement, florally engraved plate, chain/large fusee, verge escapement, nicely pierced pillars, plain two armed iron balance without balance spring, florally engraved and pierced balance cock.
Florally engraved silver dial with applied silver chapter ring with engraved Ottoman numerals and blued steel arrow hand. Plain silver case with shutter at the back, winding through the back, turning ball-shaped pendant.
