A Swiss 18 carat gold skeletonized quarter repeating cylinder pocket watch with Jacquemart automaton, circa 1820. Gilt movement, pierced and engraved bridge cock, cylinder escapement, repeating the hours and quarter hours, visible stainless steel striking train, gilt main plate below. Dial with solid gold engraved chapter ring, white enamel cartouches with black Arabic numerals and white enamel outer minute divisions, blued steel Breguet hands, a skeletonized figured automaton with multicoloured gold figures, striking with two hammers on two bells. Plain case, reeded band.
