An English 18 carat gold half hunting cased keyless pocket watch with associated chain, Birmingham Hallmarked for 1917. Swiss lever movement with a cut and compensated bimetallic balance and snail cam regulation. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The polished hinged case with a Roman numeral chapter on the glazed front and a monogram on the back. Movement signed and stamped DF&C, the case is stamped A.L.D.
