A rare and large gold pair cased clock watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1800, gilt full plate verge movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, plain three arm balance, silver regulation dial, barrel for the quarters and hours repeating clock mechanism with two hammers on a bell, signed both on movement back plate and dust cap cover Dan De Saint Leu, London.
White enamel dial, Turkish numerals, outer track for the minute graduation, the outer case finely decorated with floral motifs, pierced and engraved to the band, the back showing military trophies within a garland  of leaves, inner case pierced and engraved with foliage scrolling pattern, strike/silent device to the band for the clock striking mechanism, case stamped IP.
