A very fine, extremely rare Glashütte quarter-hour repeating hunting cased pocket watch, manufactured in 1A quality, circa 1908. Sold in 1908 for 948 marks with original box and original certificate.
Gilt 3/4 plate movement, two hammers / two gongs, factory glazing, gold screw compensation balance. Enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and gold Louis XV-style hands. Polished 18K red gold Lucia case. Dial and movement signed.
