A fine and rare Swiss brass keyless eight-day-going Marine chronometer, circa 1942.
Brass bowl and gimballed suspension, mahogany box. Silvered dial with Paris numerals, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 15 jewels, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. This watch is sold with a box and certificate of authenticity.
