A massive 18 carat gold eight day hunting cased perpetual calendar minute repeating carillon Grande Sonnerie clock watch with moon phases, circa 1900. Gilt lever movement, highly jeweled two train movement with bi-directional winding, bimetallic compensation balance, three hammers striking on gongs. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, windows for day, date and month, subsidiary dial combined with constant seconds, moon phases and ages of the moon. The rim engraved with choices of strike/silent and another for quarters only/hours and quarters. Polished case.
