A large Swiss rose gold and gunmetal musical watch, circa 1900. Patent No 6776 cylinder movement, pinned barrel musical mechanism with 31 tuned teeth to the steel comb. Glazed cuvette. Eccentric white enamel dial, Roman numerals, pierced gold hands and musical trophy painted below the dial with foliate boarder. Stain finished gunmetal case, rose gold slide to the band to activate music, embossed gilt plaque to the back depicting the Swiss legendary figure of William Tell in a landscape.
