An English gold quarter repeating pair cased verge watch, circa 1768. Full plate gilt movement, finely pierced and engraved balance cock, diamond endstone. Signed and numbered dust cap. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, Arabic outer minute track, blued steel beetle and poker hands. Plain inner case, engraved decoration to the outer case with glazed panel to the back containing woven hair. Movement and dust cap signed, hallmarked London 1768.
