A Swiss gilt metal and enamel open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1774. Gilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge. Painted white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, the border with a polychrome enamel scene of a soldier within a landscape. The case with later applied Parona Bavariae 1776 coin on the back, foil-backed paste stones to the bezels and a restored blue enamel border. Dial and movement signed.
