A Swiss gold, enamel and diamond set beetle pendant watch, circa 1900. Gilt cylinder movement. Concealed white enamel dial with Arabic blue numerals. Beetle form case, hinged wings with translucent blue enamel over an engine turned ground highlighted with rose cut diamonds, the tips of the wings, chased head with ruby set eyes, reverse realistically chased and engraved. Comes with a presentation case.
