A fine and rare Swiss platinum, diamond and enamel set ladies pendant watch, circa 1911. Retailed by the Frank Herschede Co. 10”’ Manual winding movement, 18 jewels, bimetallic balance. White enamel dial, Breguet numerals, indexed chapter ring for minutes and Louis XVI hands. Case with diamond set bezel and pierced diamond set grille, cabochon sapphire set crown, snap on case back decorated with enamel and set with diamonds in a vertical striped pattern. Case, dial, and movement signed by maker, movement signed by retailer. With associated platinum, onyx and diamond set chain. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming sale with diamond settings on October 25th, 1912 and the original leather case from the retailer Frank Herschede Co., Cincinnati, Ohio.
