Very fine and rare rose gold, enamel, pearl set lever by Patek Philippe

A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold and pearl set open faced pendant watch with enamel scene, circa 1887. 12”’ Manual winding gilt lever movement. White enamel dial centered by a polychrome painted enamel scene of a maiden at rest, blue Roman numerals for the hours and outer red Arabic numerals for the minutes. Both bezels set with pearls, reeded case band, bow set with pearls, polychrome enamel case back of a courting couple, engraved monogram to the cuvette. Case and movement signed. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming all decoration and monogram, as well as date of sale on 15 November 1888.
