A slim Swiss lever dress watch with a sales receipt, circa 1948. Keyless damascened nickelled bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed black metal dial with subsidiary seconds, red Roman numerals in the grey ring chapter, and gilt hands. Plain chrome-nickel open face case engraved inside the hinged back cover with the owners name and date. Original sales receipt dated November 1948 for £ 10-10 shillings.
