An extremely rare Swedish 18K rose gold open faced cylinder pocket watch, circa 1800.
Early gilt frosted full plate movement, florally engraved, automatic oscillating weight wind movement, blued screws, solid movement pillars, cylinder escapement, three armed steel balance, blued balance spring, florally engraved and pierced balance bridge.
White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, gold fleur-de-lys hands. Plain case, maker’s punch mark IM. Dial signed.
