A Swiss gold full hunter cased watch with a chronometer escapement, made in Switzerland, circa 1900. The, on both sides, engine turned full hunter case of this watch has three gold lids all crafted from 14 carat gold and its numbered cuvette is engraved. The enamel dial features Arabic five minute numerals, Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The numbered very fine chronometer movement is fitted with a detent chronometer escapement with rocker and a helical hairspring.
The cuvette, dial and movement are all marked Chronomètre.
