An impressive, large and heavy gold hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch with chronograph made in Switzerland, circa 1900. The numbered case of this watch has three lids, which are all crafted from 14 carat gold and its cuvette is marked Repetition à minutes and chronographe. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions, an outermost fifth of a second track calibrated from 0-300, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The glazed movement is fitted with a high quality Swiss lever escapement.
