An extravagant 14 K gold travel pocket watch with alarm, Switzerland for A.Modro, circa 1920. A 14 K gold, punched, case numbered 1904, back lid usable as a stand, back lid inscribed with a Polish dedication from 1928, bell for alarm inscribed “Brevet No. 17104”, gilt lever movement with alarm function in very good condition, “PROT” punch, movement number 1145709, bimetallic screw balance, fine adjusting device, lever escapement, rubies, blued steel screws, original white enamel dial (fine hairlines), black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, signed “A.Modro”, rotating bezel to adjust the gilt alarm hand, blued steel hands, case back engine turned and monogrammed EK/KE, technically in very good condition, optically in good condition, made in Switzerland, sold by A.Modro Warsaw.
