A fine Swiss 14 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch made by IWC Schaffhausen, circa 1900. It has a mechanical crown wound manual movement with a lever escapement featuring stone pallets, screwed chatons, and a swan-neck fine adjustment system. The white enamel dial displays black Roman numerals for the hours, inner red 13 to 24 hour markers, an outer railway minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel spade hands. The timepiece is housed in a three body, 14 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case with a polished hinged protective front cover, a fluted winding crown, and a round suspension bow.
