Gold hunting cased keyless lever watch

A fine Swiss 14 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch made by Moeris, circa 1920. It has a mechanical crown winding manual movement with a lever escapement, stone pallets, and a screwed centre stone. The gold coloured dial features black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track with 13 to 24 hour markers, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel Breguet style hands. The dial bears a Moeris signature below the 12 o’clock marker. The timepiece is housed in a three body, 14 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case with a polished hinged front cover, a fluted winding crown, an inner metal dust cover, and a round bow.

The watch comes with an old storage case and a matching heavy yellow gold mesh link chatelaine fob chain decorated with a central blue sapphire cabochon slide terminal and a secure swivel clasp.
