A very large gold full hunter case watch with repeater and chronograph, made by the Fratelli Forti in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1900. This watch has a plain case crafted from 18 carat gold with a cuvette that is engraved with five medals, Ancre de Precision, Chronographe and Repetition à Quarts. The white stepped enamel dial features Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The movement has a Swiss lever escapement, an hours and quarters repeater and a chronograph.
The cuvette is signed.
