An impressive, extremely heavy, astronomical gold full hunter cased watch with six complications, made for the Russian market in Switzerland, circa 1900. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and is engine turned on both sides. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals a Russian calendar and very beautiful gold hands. The glazed movement is fitted with a Swiss precision lever escapement, a minute repeater, a chronograph, a triple calendar and moon phase indication.
