An extremely fine split seconds chronograph with register, made by Vacheron & Constantin in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1920. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and features a monogram “WM” on the back lid. The white enamel dial has an outer ring with Arabic 5 minute numerals, Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute counter at 12 o’clock and blued Breguet hands. The numbered movement is fitted with a highly complicated precision lever escapement with fine adjusting device and split seconds chronograph.
The cuvette is signed.
