A fine Swiss, keyless, 18 carat gold pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph, circa 1900. Retailed by Tiffany & Co, New York. Adjusted jewelled lever movement with chronograph work and split mechanism visible on bridges, activated by buttons in crown and band, bimetallic balance with overcoiled spring and micrometre regulator, gold cuvette.
White enamel dial with fifth seconds track enclosing Arabic chapters, blued hands and gilt split hand, subsidiary seconds within a plain gold case, signed by the retailer on the case. Dial and movement.
