A fine and rare Swiss, 18K yellow gold, minute repeating, keyless pocket watch, circa 1900. A solid case, reeded band, hinged bezel and case back. White enamel dial with painted fancy Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold Louis XVI hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striking decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Movement signed Swiss, case and movement numbered.
