A Swiss gold and red agate open faced pocket watch made by Zenith in Le Locle, circa 1920. This unique timepiece features a round one piece case crafted from red agate with minor chips and marks, and a fluted gold bezel. The white enamel dial shows black Arabic numerals for the 12 hour indication and red Arabic numerals for the 24 hour track, along with a minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel hands. The dial is signed Zenith. The hand wound mechanical lever movement with a crown set mechanism is also signed by Zenith. The watch includes a fluted crown and a circular bow.
