A fine and elegant Swiss, thin, large minute repeating, 18K yellow gold keyless dress watch, circa 1920. Accompanied by a box. The back with an engraved monogram MV. Hinged gold cuvette engraved by Marcel Vichet. White enamel dial with black fancy Arabic numerals, outer minute track with red Arabic 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Genava stripining decoration, 29 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial signed.
