The Milkmaid, also known as The Kitchen Maid, is a painting from around 1660 by the Dutch master Johannes Vermeer.
–
Johannes Vermeer was baptized in Delft, on October 31, 1632, and died there, on December 15, 1675. He was a Dutch painter in the Golden Age. Vermeer is hailed as one of the greatest painters of the 17th century.
–
A hand-enamelled pocket watch inspired by an old masterpiece. If the painting had been commissioned by Patek Philippe, the watch would probably have been worth between € 200,000 and € 300,000. However, now a fraction of this amount, nevertheless, this timepiece is unique with its beautiful painting.
