A Swiss 18K gold and enamel open faced keyless lever dress watch, circa 1968. Retailed by Cartier.
Round-shaped case, a polychrome enamel equestrian portrait of Count Stanislas Potocki on the back by J. Pellarin-Leroy, Geneva, after a painting from 1781 of Jacques-Louis David. White enamel dial with radial Roman hours, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Rhodium-plated movement with going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, a Glucydur screw balance and self-compensating flat hairspring, adjusted to heat, cold isochronism and five positions, punched with the Geneva Quality Hallmark. Dial, case and movement signed and accompanied by an Extract from the Archives.
