A fine and rare Swiss, Louis XV-style, 18K gold and enamel, keyless lady’s pendant watch, circa 1900. The bezel with a hobnail pattern, the back pierced and chased with a stylized flower and foliage, and the red enamel of the cuvette is visible through the piercing. Hinged gold cuvette overlaid with red guilloche enamel. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and large Arabic five-minute numerals. Gold Louis XV hands. A matte gilt movement, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance with blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Movement signed.
