A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced pocket watch with chronograph and counter, made by Longines, circa 1900. This watch features a handwound mechanical movement with a lever escapement. Its signed enamel dial shows black Arabic numerals for the hours, with an outer minute and second track marked at five minute and five second intervals using Arabic numerals. It includes a subsidiary dial at 6 o’clock for continuous seconds, a 30 minute counter at 12 o’clock, a central chronograph hand, and Breguet style hands. The smooth, polished case is made of 18 carat yellow gold. The watch bears signatures on the case, dial, and movement. It is operated by a single push button and a crown release.
