A Swiss fine hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph and original box, circa 1900. This pocket watch boasts an 18-carat polished gold case with a gold dome and a pusher for the chronograph function located at 12. The enamel dial is signed and showcases Arabic Empire numerals, auxiliary seconds, a 30-minute counter, a centre chronograph hand, and elegant gold spade hands. The watch’s movement is a 3/4 plate design that is rhodium-plated and decorated with fausses côtes. The chronograph steel parts are finely ground and bevelled, and it features a ratchet wheel and a monometallic screw balance.
