A fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced chronograph with double counter, circa 1920. This watch features a handwound mechanical movement with a lever escapement. It has a signed enamel dial with black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer track for minutes and seconds with Arabic numerals for five minute and five second increments, a subsidiary dial for continuous seconds at 6 o’clock, a subsidiary dial with a 30 minute counter at 12 o’clock, a centre chronograph hand, and pear shaped hands. The polished 18 carat gold case is engraved with a monogram, and the case back is decorated and marked with the inscription Grand Prix de Paris/Bruxelles/Anvers/Milan. It is operated by a single push button and a crown release.
