A very fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch with the bezel and bow decorated with enamel and the case band engraved, circa 1921. Sold on July 19th, 1922. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. A polished case, engraved, and enamelled, snap-on case back engraved with the monogram VJC. D. Brushed gilt with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blue steel Breguet hands. A frosted gilt movement, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line moustache lever escapement, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case, bow, and movement signed.
